At the heart of the formation of the KVN League of the Universiade Village is the idea of creating another platform for extracurricular activities of students living in the campus, who can show their creative potential in such an exciting way.

The starting point in the history of the League should be considered as February 2016.

Initially, the management of this project decided to provide the teams with such conditions under which they could develop after their participation in the seasons. Embodying this idea, the leadership of our League signed an agreement with the local League of the Republic KVN RT, according to which the winning teams of the Universiade Village League seasons directly pass into the ½ season of the student League KVN of Kazan (now - KVN League "Alga"). This agreement is valid to this day and is an effective incentive for the fruitful work of the teams.

The first game of the League - the Cup of the mayor of the Universiade Village - was held on April 10, 2016. The winner of the Cup was the KVN team "AllRight", whose members are now members of the music band "ANI".

To date, 3 full seasons have passed.

The teams taking part in the games of our League get excellent experience and knowledge in writing humorous material and staging. This is evidenced by the results of our teams in the national leagues:

• KVN team "Young membership" (team of the KVN League of the Universiade Village) – winner of the Championship of KVN Tatarstan in Kazan;
• The KVN team "Kazan residence permit" - the bronze medalist of the Student League of KVN, Kazan, 2017;
• KVN team "Pakhnik Tesha" - the finalist of KVN League "Alga".

As part of the KVN League, Universiade Village hosts master classes and training sessions from experienced KVN Players, and in the process of preparing teams for the games of the season - editorial views from the Champions of the KVN League "Republic".

Games of the season are held on the system "autumn-spring", and represent 4 stages: Festival (October), 1/4 finals (December), 1/2 finals (March), finals (May).

Every year in September we recruit a new team and new faces are always welcome!

Our League is distinguished by its friendly and sincere atmosphere, as well as the unity of the whole large team.
