On March 17, in the ComeIn Art space, with the support of the Universiade Village Administration, a mehendi master class was held.
The lesson was conducted by Elina. Mehendi is a painting and decoration of the body with henna. The name of the decoration technique was given due to the fact that it is made exclusively by henna and is a kind of ornament endowed with a special meaning. In ancient times, applying to the body of various drawings, tattoos was required to protect themselves from external forces. The history of mehendi dates back about 5000 years. Now henna can be painted not only on the body, but also to paint pictures, postcards. This is what our guests did at today's event. Alina told about the history of mehendi, taught how to draw postcards.
The guests were satisfied with the master class. Drawing is not only creating something with your own hands, but also a useful pastime.
Draw, develop, delight loved ones!
