Tour delegates to the 45th WorldSkills World Championships WorldSkills Village
On January 23, as part of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Preparation Week, a tour of delegates from 62 participating countries took place at hotels and the WorldSkills Village (the official name of the Universiade Village for the duration of the championship).
In the WorldSkills Village, which will become the largest and closest venue for participants and officials of the championship, to the Expo Expo, the Mayor of the Universiade Village Ilnur Rakhimov met the guests and spoke about the infrastructure and services of the Village.
The tour began with the International Information Center, where in August the participants will be accredited, information support will be provided and meals (breakfast) will be organized with a choice of one of four types of kitchens. Then the delegates walked through the territory of the Village to one of the residential buildings in which participants would be accommodated. On the way, they learned about the available services: a supermarket, a business center, self-service laundries, a post office, atelier, several cafeterias, lounge areas, cultural and sports facilities. And also about the security system, nearby facilities and inland transport.
In a residential building with accommodation numbers of level 3 *, delegates familiarized themselves with the service system, available services (laundry, classrooms, business center, video halls and lounge areas and medical offices) and saw single, double and triple rooms equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning and a fridge.
Despite the frosty morning, it seemed our Russian winter did not frighten the delegates. The whole meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The meeting participants were satisfied with the conditions and are looking forward to the start of the championship.
