On January 24, in the framework of the Preparatory Week for the 45th World Championship on Professional Skill under the WorldSkills-2019 Standards, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova visited the Universiade Village (the official name during the Championship is Worldskills Village). She was accompanied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The meeting was also attended by the rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov and the rector of the Volga region GAFKSiT Yusup Yakubov.

During the tour of the residential house number 18, the Mayor of the Universiade Village Ilnur Rakhimov spoke about the infrastructure and services of the largest accommodation facility for participants and officials of the championship (more than 5,000 people are planned to be accommodated in the Village WorldSkills), as well as about the preparation schedule for the Village.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia also talked to students who currently live in the Universiade Village.
